Proofreading

I am happy to proofread texts that have already been translated by someone else when you would like to make sure it has no errors, and it uses the right terminology.

My aim when proofreading is to perfect the linguistic and stylistic quality of texts.

I also proofread the texts I translate to ensure that the documents are accurate and error-free, taking into account the agreed criteria. During proofreading, I pay particular attention to spelling, grammatical structures, stylistic elements and consistency to ensure that the documents are delivered to the highest standard.

Machine translation

Light MT post-editing

Light post-editing means that I check and correct the grammatical and factual accuracy of the raw machine-translated text. It often happens that sentences get jumbled, because of machine translation, so I rewrite them for clarity. The text may not flow as smoothly as if it had been produced by a human translator and small details may not be corrected. This is particularly useful if you just want to make sense of the content of a particular text.

Full MT post-editing

Full post-editing is a time-consuming process that ensures human translation quality. I check and correct the accuracy of the translation, the use of appropriate terminology and the style of the text.
In this version, accuracy, spelling, and punctuation are all corrected. As the aim is to deliver a text produced by a professional translator, I check and compare the terminology with the collection of terms received from the client and pay particular attention to the flow of the text. I can also help with formatting when necessary.

Both services give me the opportunity to bring translations to the right level.

Translation process

In case of each project, my goal is to simplify the translation process and make it clear. All you need to do is drop me a message.

1. Get in touch
Send me a message about who you are, the industry you work in and what your translation needs are.

2. Consultation, proposal
I will get in touch with you. You have the chance to discuss any questions and needs you may have regarding your project. I will prepare an action plan and proposal.

3. Confirmation, signing of agreement
Upon accepting the proposal, we will sign the agreement and an NDA should you need one.

4. Delivery
I will deliver the job on the agreed date or prior to the set date and you will have a chance to give feedback. I am happy to assist you in fine – tuning and amending the translation in case you need any changes.
